Really seriously last post =P

In less than 24 hours, it will be the brand new year 2010.
Year 2009 is coming to an end.....
I really really couldnt imagine how fast time fliessss.

I'm afraid of the new year, it's the first time I ever have this feeling.
I dont know how is it going to be for my year 2010.
What will happen and what I'm going to face with?

I do not want to grow up.

My 2009 year is not very exciting, interesting or happy.

Christmas =D

Two days to Christmas. =D
You hear the christmas songs and jingles all around??
You see the nicely decorated christmas tree at shopping malls??

Over here, I didnt hear a lot christmas songs cz i hardly walk in shopping malls.. I mostly shop at the retail outlets along the streets.

All the shops are on sale now! It's really good bargains and I picked up a few as christmas presents..I'm waiting waiting for boxing day, for my own shopping XP I hope there are more more more discounts..hehehhe..
Another good thing over here during christmas is the gift wrapping service.
The sales girls wrap the gift so nicely and fast. No matter how many customers around, they still offer the service. Wrapping the item with nice wrapping papers and then put on a ribbon. I wish I could keep the presents as mine. hahaaha..

所以话人靠衣装, it is quite true.
Although the quote says, Do not judge a book by a cover..
But this is nature, the appearance will be the first impression to all, the first impression will be the impression that last the longest.

Oh..No, turning 20 sooon...sounds old and grown up.

Elina is a normal girl, grown up in a loving happy family.
She is in the adolescence stage and stepping into adulthood.
At this period of time, she sees many people of her generation starting to get some achievements in life.
She sees the transition in other people but couldn't see it on herself.

People are slowly, step by step hiking up the mountain.
However, she is moving around the foot of the mountain, not up.
She wants to move up as everyone else but she still yet to find the path.
When will Elina discover the path that brings her up?
Will she have the strength and ability to climb up to the peak?

The food

I'm no longer a bread princess but now a muffin princess.

Addicted to it and loving muffins so much.

One in every alternate day!

Banana walnut muffin, coffee muffin, apple and cinnamon muffin, blueberries muffin, white chocolate muffin, chocolate muffin and chocolate chocolate chip muffin......and that's my favourite.

This is so so wrong.

I enjoyed the muffins, guilt after that, yet tempted to buy them another day. =(((

It's not 100 marks but just merely passed =)
At least I got the right texture and able to roll and to spread it with cream.
Much much more improvements on the appearance and the taste.

Besides, I'm working on making a smooth, delectable, melt in your mouth egg custard =D

Practice makes perfect. Trial and error for many many times and I'm now getting the texture and again need to improve on the taste.

The aim is to make one to present to my papa.. *grin* He can cook all sorts of dishes but still have not master the skill of making one dish - smooth steamed eggs.

I need..

... someone to stop me from eating.
... someone to keep me occupied.
... someone to supervise my exercise routine.

... someone to be here, even if we're wasting time together,

two is better than one.
... someone to yell at me when I do something that my mind
tell me not to.

I'm currently following the dramas below =D

1st one Black & White, recommended by miss YY, totally nice.

It's different from usual idol taiwanese drama, it's about two cops (two handsome cops), the story line is quite unexpected, this keeps me going. Of course, the girls are pretty in this drama.

2nd one ~ Gossip girl season 3

Story is getting more and more complicated, more good ones in previous season turning bad.

I'm only up to episode 10, just have to wait till the next episode is up on the site that i visit....

can't wait....im checking it everyday!!

3rd one~ The realm of conscience

The last month of the year, december is the happiest month for the majority.
Long school holiday for school kids...
Long semester break for most unis and colleges..

When you're having holiday, you will complain it's too boring, too lifeless.
Humans just cant satisfy themselves with anything they have.

In exactly 60days, I will be back to the taugeh land. =P
'ngar choy' - the vege that i dislike for 16 years i think, only like it alot this few years...and this goes with many other types of vege... =)
two months is not so soon neither very far away, time really fliessssss...
but one after another, more and more friends willl be heading back to msia..and i'll be the last..

Life now is not that interesting..
Work, eat, sleep that's what i do...
abit anti -social these days..
I always care about what other people think, what's my impression to them..
sometimes i wish i can read people's mind, but I also know that the more you know the worse you'll feel.....but if I dont know, i will just imagine myself....

Christmas is really soon. Santa claus is coming to town??
It's a very happy festival, the jingles, the decorations, all cheer up my mood.
But, when it's the time of picking xmas gift, it really pulls me down....

There goes my first year uni. Finally it's all done, four weeks for the whole exam period really doesnt feel nice at all, a little torturing, when you want to enjoy but you cant fully enjoy.
Yes, I'm done now, you really cant imagine how fast time flies, i felt like i just came to this foreign place. Well, my first year life wasnt that interesting or exciting, I admit that I did not go out my way to socialise, but I'm not the nerdy type that stay at home all time for revisions and uni work..but what did I do during free time over the past months?? can't specifically recall but I just feel that I'm not really free to always hang out and go for parties.

Right after exam today, around 16 of us classmates went to Crown for dinner and then played a few games of the Laser War. It's my first time having a laser war game though, pretty fun but it's a bit pricey for the game to me. Basically we just run around and shoot each other, it's a nice game but I dont think it's worth the price. The game is something like paint ball, but no PAin, lol, and it's in a dark space not outdoor, I heard that some laser wall game actually will give a mild electrocution but there's none for this, it will be much more interesting..haha. After that, we had some drinks and that it is my after exam activity.
I just feel that the bond between the friends are not there yet, unlike last year, the sam clan had a strong bond just in less than a year, perhaps it's because we had classes together and we hang out also after classes as most of us lived in the hostels.

I wish the clock will stop tomorrow, so that roommate will stay *evil grin*, I'm soon to be the loner in the house, will be missing her laughing voice and her hyper jumps running out of the room telling me how cute is his korean guys. You will be free in 12 more hours! HOoray! Hoooray! Double hooray, you will be soon stepping back into Malaysia.

Three months holiday, such a long one, but only if only if only if.......then i will be very happy..

I'm been thinking about the moment when I'm back in malaysia.
Two more month plus to go, but it just pop up in my mind when Im revising.
Maybe because many of my friends are heading home soon, so it make me think of it tooooo.
Lots of plans...

I must really do some actual plannings this time, as everytime I've lots of plans in my mind but in the end cant make it to them..

Exam exam and exams sooon.
This time is a lil different from in June,as that time I went back to Msia the day right after my last paper, while this time, I'm going to stay on for 2 more months.
The feeling is different but I still look forward to that where I can just relax and enjoy my holidays here. EAT~PLAY~WORK~SLEEP~EXERCISE

29DAys more for housemate to go back to her home sweet home, I can truely understand how it feels, so nice so nice, and of course in the mean time of preparing for exams, will have the hassle to plan of the souvenirs to bring back. Although it's sometimes troublesome, but when you think of the time seeing the significant ones back at home, the hassles are nothing.
Will surely miss you!

Well, I'm not as homesick as before, maybe i had the short break in msia in July.
I'm looking forward to enjoy my holidays here =) just faster faster get over with the exams.
Before this, i had some hope that someone, family or friends will be having a trip to visit during Dec, but don't think there is now. If my time is fully occupied, I will survive =)

I want new experiences and new routines.

What's my goal?

This afternoon, my first time participating in a focus group research, there are 6 of us students and a facilitator from a marketing research company.
The main whole reason behind that pulled me in to volunteer in that thing is because of the free pizza and movie voucher! XP materialistic right......

Well, we just discussed about our current course, other course options and also the main aspect they're trying to look into is our view if there's a new double degree course of pharmacy and pharmaceutical science.

My other classmates there seem to have their goals and clearly know what they want to do and the reason they chose Monash, the reason they chose Pharmaceutical science over all other availbale options.

The questions we discussed really make me think again, why why and why...
Why I am in Monash....because there's not many other uni that offer pharmacy course in Melbourne...
Why I am in pharm.science, because quota full in pharmacy course.
I actually dont really have the clear mind that I want to do this course, I like chemistry alot? I want to focus in research and come up with new things? No, I'm not.
The rest in the group seems have their goals, they have their reasons why Monash, why this single degree or double degree course and some actually said the unit subjects also influence their choice.
Wow,I totally dont know what subjects I'm going to take before I enrol into this course.

Discussing about the double degree course, they are all firm that they will stay in the current course, they are sure what they want is to be a formulator, chemical engineer or researcher...
how about me..I actually do will consider of the double degree course comprising pharmacy and pharm.science as I'm indecisive and not sure what i want. I may want to be a pharmacist, may want to be the formulator...

Oh well, I know that i mentioned in previous post saying I'm not going to write for quite some time, but I just want to write something.hahaha..

"A formulator need to be curious, find out things that nobody knows and will experience a lot of disappointment as things always turn out not what is expected" this is said by a senior lecturer.

I really really doubt about my curiosity and the level of disappointment that I can take....

Will stop blogging for some time unless I really have important things to update you all my dear friends.
Really lost the mood to write here already.
My life is good normal student life, outings and studying. Eating very well too and my previous effort is all gone, but hope to get back the motivation and achieve my goal by the dateline.
It always seems more outings and gatherings when the schedule is busier, when there are more assignments and when closer to exams.
Just trying hard to split my time well into both sides.
Glad that two more friends, dear Jian and Jun is here.... = more outings = more fun too!
Focus focus for another month plus and I can party crazy crazy crazily...

Lazy to update my blog nowadays.
I just grew a year older, a year better? a better year ahead? Life still goes on as usual and much more exciting stuff awaiting, much more things for me to explore and experience. This is life, about growing up and growing old and we will get to see things in different perspective throughout our life period. =D

A memorable birthday for me this year too, a surprise party organised by the superwoman miss JiaYiing. Another surprise is that I received many birthday wishes through message from many long lost friends, thanks to all of you and also the ones behind the scene, miss YY and ray ma..heheee..

I do know many people are there for me, care about me and always there if I need any help and I'm grateful for all this. Thank you!

Presentation and debates waiting for me to reseach on, and the finals is in less than a month!
Cant wait for all this to over and I can have my super long break and relax...

Too many happenings lately.

I always wonder if I didnt decide to come here at the very beginning of the year, things would be very different, things will be easier, not so many issues to care about, my life will be just study smart and play hard.

Well, there are the good side too, I'm exposed and forced to be on myself, learn and experience much more things in life.

It is a two way road and depends we want to go to which side, a side that we gain from all this life experience and develop into a better person, or a side that we develop into a person with just lesser feelings and moving further and further away from people.

Maybe i just think too much.

I'll thrive and move through my pathway.

Mice dissection today! It's the second time doing dissection for me, the first one was frog dissection in high school and now is mice. Oh well, it's not totally dissecting of the frog because at that time I'm only using my eyes not my hands.haha..This time, I really did it, pretty fun and interesting practical.

The cute little white mice is just like Stuart Little, but still I have to cut it. The fur are soft and it was still warm, not sure whether the people kept it in a warm place or it is fresh (just died). Xp Anyway, pins, forceps, scissors all ready and here we go!!

Cut open the fur layer, then the inner epithelial layer, the organs are all organised nicely and clearly. Started by looking at the reproductive system!! It's a urogenital practical, dont think that we want to look at those parts in particular. XP My mice is a male and so we see the scrotum, prostate, penis, anus and bla bla bla bla. Later, we go on looking from bottom to top, the digestive part, the stomach, liver, intestines.......then the ribs, that's the worst part breaking up the ribs, and then dig out the heart hidden beneath the ribs..heheee.

Once again, it's a male mice --- we have to do a sperm count. We cut off the epididymis and squeezed the sperms out, then observe under microscope. Amazingly, the active sperms are all still swimming around actively, just like little tadpoles vibrating and moving. Mice have a tiny part near to the bladder that produce a kind of pheromone that attract the opposite sex too.
Dissecting is fun! Im not scared anymore..hehe...

Later in the afternoon, met up with cousins for lunch.
The two host of melbourne want to on diet but like hungry ghost, excuse is to introduce some nice food to the visitor, in the end ate extra super much Xp
Greek Lamb risotto, milk shakes, egg tart, and strawberry nutella pancake crepes with ice cream. Extremely full! After all that, I walked from flinders back home, a few km walk, then went swimming, to make myself feel better, but actually it doesnt make much difference, after swimming, cheesecake! Awesome cheesecake made by housemate that cannot resist by anyone =D

Everytime I see a successful looking person with a moderate or luxury car, a few statements just pop in my mind.
I want to have a house, dont need to be a banglo, but a homy and cozy one.
I want to have a car.
I want to have my own property.
The best way I can think of or I think I will enjoy doing to achieve those is to own a business, a small cafe which sells coffee and sandwiches or a mini bakery. Why am i studying my course, that leading me to work under many other top directors of some company, hiding in the lab doing research and developments without notice by the people, and slowly slowly climb up the hierarchy IF capable. How many years will it take.
Actually Im just being lazy perhaps, want a simple life without much worries but also sufficient money to spend and have holidays, 嫁个有钱人吧！今晚发下梦吧。

Hate cleaning!

My first experience in cleaning the bathroom.
It's the worst among every part of the house, or maybe the kitchen is the worst, but I didnt clean it.
I brushed every single tile with the little toothbrush, removing the stubborn stains and dirt, didnt even brush so well for my own teeth.
My teeth will be with me, work for me for the next 60 years!
On the other hand, i'm cleaning and brushing the bathroom tiles for the next tenant!
In my mind just keep on reminding myself, just do it, must do it, to get back the full bond.
Two and a half hours spent for the little bathroom, better pass for the final inspection!
Lesson learnt for the day - Must earn well in future in order to hire a maid to do cleaning, of course must reward the maid well, it's super hardwork. Xp
Mummy back at home, utmost gratitude to u cleaning the house for so so so many years, will get a maid for you couple of years later.. heheee..and let's gotong royong together next year before chinese new year..

The black nokia doens't ring a lot.

It appreciates every incoming calls or message no matter it's a short or a long one, local or international.

The once in a while calls really shows how much you care.

We don't need to be in contact often, as long as we do have a define space in heart allocated for each other.

the Four seasons

Nearing seven months I've been here in Melbourne.
Autumm, winter and now Spring. yeah..but not really spring weather yet.
Three more nights and two more days in this apartment. Major shifting on Sat.
I will surely miss my room, my bed that is side by side to the wall, the huge built in wardrobe and the huge huge huge mirror.
Although I didnt stay here as long as my both housemates, they stayed here for years and me only for months, but I do will be missing this place as they do.
Will miss the only 10 mins walk to city tooo.

Disappointed on myself for letting go this golden opportunity, not holding it tightly but slipped it off.
I know that it can make lots of changes, seriously a lot, for my parents, for myself and make many things easier, but i didn't do my best.

Went to a self-musical production on saturday night - The Puppets.
Puppets are usually controlled by people, they are tied up with strings, they move when people want them to, they have no souls no choice.
Are human living as puppets? Are we controlling each other lives?
Do we move, take action or do something to please other people, to show other people, to be competitive?
Yes, it is all about interactions. In life we interact with each other, we fulfil other people needs and others will satisfy our needs too.

The moral of the story is not to be controlled by our desire, we dream and we go for our dream.
Desire is the little bad evil that pulls u down in doing what you really want beneath your heart.

As the population grows, the globalisation, the commercialisation, everything done is for the community, we do it because the world wants this. If you're not, you'll not fit in.
People nowadays tends to forget about what is the actual purpose of life, what actually we are going for, what is happiness, do we just live as normal just because everyone live the same or we step out and say it out loud I should be this instead of that....

Live to yourself, discover the hidden dream, move towards it. Stop being controlled.

When hit by miss EMO

When hit by miss emo, the emo kids in unit 2/20 bake.
Each has their own problems, but we both just want to bake.
After a round of oreo cheesecake, here it comes the chocolate chip cookies.
Usually, I will not bake but sleep and eat.
This time, I bake and indulge.
Huge plate of Korean rice, chocolate pistachio baklava, oreo, oreo cheesecake, chocolate chip cookies all in a day.
Felt so bad and guilty after these but I’m still lazy to move, to exercise.

A windy day, lucky not too cold weather.
The strong wind pushes me forward and also going against me.
Tomorrow will be a very windy day too with wind speed 40-60kmph.
A saturday night, so me and housemate went out for dinner, Crispy pork ( siuyok) rice..yumyummm..later we had our dessert..Fredo's Gelato! really enjoyed it!

it's late in the middle of night now. 2.47am.
A fight just happened right outside my apartment, I heard the noise but it didnt bother me or alert me of anything, I'm just inside my world, in the blogger. hehee..
Knock Knock knock! "YiLee, there's a fight outside!" my housemate alert me..
We both peeped through our balcony glass door. I cant see any punches happening but my housemate did witnessed the hitting and the eff word scolding part. SHe kepoh through her room window for quite some time it shows!!hehee..she'll read thiss...Xp
The efficient Victorian police came after 1-2mins. One by one, in total there are 6 police cars. It looks like some serious murder case just happened but it's just merely fight of a small group of people.
Me and housemate waiting to see something more interesting to happen but then not much to watch..haha..

Btw, Yes, finally we get a good reply from the property agent, me, cousin and miss JIaJia will be shifting to a new apartment, a more spacious area with front and backyard. Although my room will be smaller as well as my wardrobe, I will be nearer to my uni, which means further from the city too. =(
Oh well, there are always the pro and cons in everything. We shall just balance it and get the most of it. =)

Dont have the feeling to write anything or update anything on blogger or facebook lately.
I'm so so slack and lazy. Slept at about 10pm for two nights!! and have afternoon naps too no matter how sufficient + over sleep i get from the previous night.
I dont feel sleepy, but yet dont feel like doing anything else, so will just lie on the bed and ........ there i go to pay a visit to "mr.Chow".

SOme baking moments with my dear housemate again. Oh well it's already past a few weeks till now i write about it.haha..

Homemade pizza. Its my first time making pizza too.The base was made by aunty. I did help in the process to make the pizza base too. My aunty actually place the pizza dough in front of the heater, hehe...so that the dough rise up faster. I witnessed the tripling volume of the dough after hours.Later, Me and housemate just add our favourite toppings on it. That's a easy one! xp

We are all growing up, the secondary school friends are now turning 19..and soon we officially an adult that can vote, and then our life goes on and on...

I'm losing my enthusiasm to study again, enjoyed too much in the past few weeks. =(
I'm so reluctant to move, so reluctant to use my brain and complete the worksheets.
Felt so sleepy while reading the lecture notes.
Second semester syllabus is harder than before, in most lectures i cant get what is being taught and what are the main points that we are suppose to know.
The dollars keep on increasing in value, why????
i need a part time job. I need to allocate my timetable well. I need to motivate myself that's the most important thing, or else i will not be able to cope.
One more thing, I need to be determine in my plan too.
off to bed now, instead of wasting time doing nothing here.

Had a good trip back to malaysia and been eating around, the fav food..hehe..thus, put on some extra kgs again in that 3 short weeks.

MALAYSIA!

THe homecook foood by papa, this time i spent my time around kitchen and help out, get some tips in cooking and be the assistant instead of sitting in the couch waiiting for dinner. XP

Papa used to shuuuu everyone out of kitchen too last time as he dont want us to kacau kacau and block his way..but now he's so happy when me n sis wants to learn cooking..

another home cook meal, this time i was lazy and didnt help out..as usual lying on the couch.. XP

mixed vege-thai style beancurd-fried fish

I cooked once dinner too for my family, with the assistant mr.ng.hehe..was very fun cooking especially with him. although sweating alot and alot cooking in malaysia.hehe..in melb, i put my hands above the hot pots to warm up my hands..the first trial cooking back at home was moderate only. actually im not satisfied with it. i need more practice.

The fritters stall. U can see it along the road while driving up to BAtu Ferringhi.

My family always stop to buy a mixture of them and we will enjoy it in the hotel.

THe banana fritters are lovely,they are special and the batter used is different from usual ones. of course it cost more tooo, one banana is 90cents i think, and there are fried sweet potatoes, yam and others.

Back to Ipoh, the 100 Yen shop which sells this snowflake now. Seekee brought me there and also belanja the two bowls of snowflakes.There are about 8 varieties.we had this greentea with some red bean on top and the mango with some real mango fruit on top too.

TGI fridays during the penang trip. my dear sis miss out again.haha..but she actually tried before this few dishes that we ordered.

-The Mac and cheese-

the fav- creamy sauce pasta with chicken. its really creamy and cheesy and that's the reason its so nice.

some sizzling chicken with cheese and mash potato.

the desert-snickers and tropical flavour.

The ice kacang that is my super fav. Tong sui kai stall which is the best ice kacang i had in ipoh. The finest ice and of course there are lots of toppings too. Looks colourful and nice too isnt??

Curry chicken- yummy

I had lots lots lots of curry and spicy food too during the trip.
